Short answer: in the OKX app go to Assets → Withdraw → Withdraw crypto, choose the coin, pick the on-chain network, paste the recipient address (plus the memo or tag if the coin needs one), enter the amount and confirm with 2FA. You pay a network fee that depends on the coin and network, and the network must match what the receiving wallet or exchange accepts. Withdrawals need completed identity verification, and several account changes trigger a 24-hour lock.

Step-by-step: withdraw crypto from OKX

  1. Open the OKX app, go to Assets (called Portfolio in some versions) and tap Withdraw, then Withdraw crypto.
  2. Select the coin you want to send, for example USDT.
  3. Choose On-chain to send to an external wallet or exchange, then choose the network (for example Tron TRC-20, Solana, Ethereum ERC-20). It must be a network the destination supports.
  4. Enter or paste the recipient address. If the coin needs a memo or tag (XRP and XLM are common examples), enter it as well.
  5. Enter the amount and pick which account to take it from (Funding or Trading). If Funding is short, OKX takes the rest from Trading. Check the network fee shown.
  6. Complete the security verification (authenticator app and email if you have both bound; SMS can't be used in that case) and confirm.
  7. Watch the status in your withdrawal history. It moves from requested to pending to in progress and then completed. "Completed" means the funds left OKX, so confirm they arrived on the receiving side.
Send a small test first when you use a new address or network. A wrong network, a missing memo or a typo can mean the funds are lost, and OKX can't reverse an on-chain transfer.

Withdrawing to another OKX user (free)

If the recipient also has an OKX account, choose OKX users instead of on-chain, enter their phone number, email, UID or sub-account name, then the amount. There is no network fee and the funds arrive immediately, but the recipient must be a verified user, the feature must be supported in their region, and a transfer to the wrong person may not be recoverable. Check the details twice.

Withdrawal fees: what you actually pay

The fee for an on-chain withdrawal is a network fee. It depends on the blockchain, not on a flat OKX rate, so the same USDT can cost very different amounts on different networks. Pick the cheapest network the receiving wallet supports and compare the fee line before you confirm. The 20% rebate from code 33746534 applies to trading fees, not to network fees, so it doesn't change the withdrawal cost. For the full fee picture see OKX fees explained.

Common problems: what if...

What if my OKX withdrawal is pending?

Check the withdrawal history first. If there is a transaction hash, look it up on a block explorer; no hash means the withdrawal hasn't left OKX yet. Requests are processed in order. OKX's help article says to contact support if a withdrawal has stayed in progress or pending for more than an hour, while its Learn page treats several hours as often normal and more than 24 hours as a sign of a problem. Typical causes are network congestion, a security or risk check, maintenance, or a wrong address or memo. When you contact support, include the asset, amount, time, destination address and any hash.

What if the withdrawal shows completed but I don't have the funds?

Completed only means the funds left OKX. The receiving platform may still be waiting for its own number of confirmations. If the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain but isn't credited, contact the receiving wallet or exchange with the transaction ID, asset, amount and address.

Can I withdraw to any address?

No. The coin and network must be supported on both sides, and OKX may restrict addresses it flags as high risk (a 48-hour withdrawal restriction applies in that case). If you enable the allowlist, you can only send to addresses saved in your address book, and with the "new address withdrawal lock" on, a newly added address can't be used for 24 hours. That delay is a feature: it gives you time to notice if someone else added an address.

What if I sent to the wrong network or forgot the memo?

OKX says to check that the network is supported before you submit and to contact support if a mismatch happens, but it doesn't promise recovery. A missing or wrong tag can make the withdrawal fail. Treat these as possibly permanent losses.

Why can't I withdraw at all?

OKX lists many reasons. The most common ones are below.

CauseWhat OKX says

Login password changedWithdrawals are blocked for 24 hours, then it lifts automatically.

Maintenance or suspended coinWait, and check the OKX status page.
High-risk address or other risk controlRestrictions can apply, for example 48 hours for a flagged address. Check your email, including spam.

What's not guaranteed

Withdrawing doesn't remove market risk: crypto prices are volatile and you can lose some or all of your capital. Keep your recovery details safe and never share your 2FA codes with anyone.
